What better way to have a great time at a festivity than one that is curated to support good cause?!? The fourth annual UNICEF Next Generation’s Masquerade Ball, the Los Angeles edition took place Clifton’s Cafeteria, all five floors and secret passageways where filled with mystical wonder. Over 600 Hollywood celebs, influencers, and industry professionals gathered to support the UNICEF efforts to save and improve the lives of children in crisis worldwide. The evening raised more than $235,000 to support UNICEF! To highlight the cause at the center of it all, a curated UNICEF Educational Activation there to encourage guests to participate in their efforts. UNICEF Next Generation was founded by Casey Rotter and is led by a diverse group of young professionals age 21 to 40. Together they have raised over $5 million since 2009.
This event was the perfect blend of fun & philanthropy! Guests enjoyed 7 incredible performances, including an acoustic set by Cold War Kids, as well as musician Devendra Banhart in the DJ booth. The costume ball featured a NEON art gallery curated by ACE Gallery, professional portrait station with a twist of “Jungle Madness”. ABOUT THE EVENT: The UNICEF Masquerade Ball is UNICEF Next Generation’s signature philanthropic event. Masked guests, dressed in their finest attire, dance the night away in celebration and support of UNICEF’s lifesaving work. NextGen is a passionate group of young philanthropists, entrepreneurs and innovators who commit their resources, networks, resolve and enthusiasm toward supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving work. NextGen Members study issues that affect children around the world and choose UNICEF projects to support through education, advocacy, skill sharing/remote volunteering and fundraising. Through their philanthropy, members mobilize their networks and inspire the next generations to take action on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children.
