Dr. Joseph Goodman, a highly accomplished dentist, was born and raised in Germany. He obtained his dental education at the prestigious University of Aachen, graduating with great honors and earning the title of Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD). His training in Germany covered all aspects of dentistry, allowing him to provide comprehensive care to patients, including extractions, implant surgery, reconstructive dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.
While proficient in all areas of modern dentistry, Dr. Goodman’s passion lies in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, particularly prosthodontics. He attests to witnessing the overwhelming emotions experienced by patients after receiving treatments like porcelain veneers. He explains, “If I say a smile can change someone’s life, it is not exaggerated… Veneers can change that.”
Dispelling a common misconception, he clarifies that cosmetic dentists are also skilled in general dentistry. He asserts that before becoming a cosmetic dentist, one must master the art of general dentistry, focusing on aesthetics, bite, comfort, and restorative aspects of smile makeovers. Dr. Goodman adheres to a philosophy of preserving natural tooth structure whenever possible, advocating for minimal tooth reduction in preparing porcelain veneers, crowns, and other dental restorations.
Despite the label of “celebrity dentist,” His approach remains inclusive, valuing patients from all walks of life. While seeing celebrities and famous personalities in his waiting room may be exciting, he emphasizes that every individual is important to his practice. His primary principle is prioritizing patient well-being, adhering to the “Do no harm” philosophy.
