Lisa Bevere, a passionate advocate for personal growth and meaningful connections, believes that each individual is uniquely crafted for a purpose. She is an acclaimed author of eight books and counting, four of which have been NY Times bestsellers. As the cohost of the weekly television program, The Messenger, which broadcasts to 214 nations, her voice proclaiming hope in Jesus echoes throughout the globe.
For women, in particular, she showcases an example of the virtuous woman as described in Proverbs 31. She runs an international ministry with her husband John Bevere and is a loving mother to four boys. In an authentic approach to conveying God’s word and connecting with audiences, she refers to herself as G-Mama and shares photos of her family. In her talks, she is loved for frequently opening by humorously referencing her fiery Sicilian character, which she has turned into a means of spreading the gospel fiercely throughout the world.
Committed to empowering others through her teachings and living a life of example, she helps them find their voice and walk forward in everything God has for them. Her teaching positively impacts the lives of millions through her social platforms, YouTube, and in-person speaking engagements. She is endeared by many across the globe and widely recognized as a woman who has a heart for God’s people.

Reflecting on the profound words of Ephesians 1:17-18 ESV, Lisa shares, “May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you.” She emphasizes that understanding God’s unique love is transformative, as she describes it as intimate, infinite, and irreplaceable. Lisa encourages individuals to recognize that there is no competition for their place in God’s heart and that they are always on His mind. His love is everlasting, immeasurable, and all-encompassing, as He is love itself.
Reflecting on her own life experiences, she shares “I would sit down with my 33 year old self. At that time she would be a mother of three boys and about to become pregnant with her fourth son. I’d encourage Lisa to take better care of herself and enjoy her husband and children. To laugh and play with them rather than merely survive them. I’d give her permission to make more time for sacred space. Invest in your family. Stop obsessing over what people say or think about you. End the relationships that simply drain you and stop pursuing the people who don’t even want to be your friends. Become who God called you to be and the people you are meant to be with will find you.”
Addressing the nuances of platforms and influence, she shares a significant revelation from her prayer time. She recalls the Holy Spirit asking her, “Do you want to be popular or influential?” Upon researching the meanings, she realized that popularity denotes trendiness and commonness, whereas influence signifies power. Recognizing the fleeting nature of popularity and the potential for misuse of power, Lisa constantly evaluates her actions and motives. She continually asks herself if she is using her influence to gain popularity or leveraging her platform to uplift others.
As she delves into her current writing project, “The Fight for Female,” her goal is to shed light on critical issues and ignite a powerful movement.
In a world thirsting for authentic connections and personal empowerment, Lisa Bevere’s wisdom and experiences serve as a guiding light as it points back to the scripture and Jesus.
