Black History Month is here, and there are plenty of fantastic Black-owned companies that you should support—not just during Black History Month, but the whole year. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, these are just a few that stood out. All of these businesses have the ability to ship their products, so you can enjoy them from anywhere.

  1. Love a good glass of lemonade? Me & the Bees Lemonade has you covered. In addition to their flavorful lemonade, you have to learn about Mikalia, the founder’s story! It all started when Mikaila, got stung by a couple of bees. After doing some research, she realized that while bees were scary, they were an important part of the environment. She decided to start a business selling flaxseed lemonade, and part of the proceeds go to helping save the bees. Over ten years later, the company is still going strong. Mikaila, has been featured on Forbes and Shark Tank among many other media appearances in recognition for her eco-entrepreneurship at such a young age. If you’re in the mood for something to drink that isn’t lemonade, Jive Juice Company might be a better option. “Jive” stands for “juice is very essential.” They offer a large variety of products, which are delivered right to your door. For example, they have juices, cleanses, smoothies, teas, workout drinks, tea detoxes, shots, and infused waters. According to their website, they even have drinks to increase your libido. With so many options, there is no doubt something for everyone.
  3. For someone with a sweet tooth, Partake Foods has a variety of foods to keep you in stock for a while. They specialize in cookies and baking mixes and boast that they are vegan, gluten-free, and are free of ingredients that affect the top eight allergies. The baking mixes are advertised as a five in one, as they can be used to make pancakes, muffins, cake, and more. The cookies that they sell have two options—soft-baked or crunchy. There is no doubt that this will satisfy the cravings of anyone looking for a great snack.
