Dress Up to Fight Zoom Fatigue: How To Feel Empowered and Motivated

Can you feel empowered! Does this feel familiar? Zoom, Zoom and more Zoom. This is the new normal for businesses across the world and for millions of people everywhere. While fashion for fashion’s sake may seem less relevant than usual, why not consider fashion for personal empowerment’s sake? This is a completely different perspective that may change your virtual meeting game.

The chances are more likely than not, that we have all experimented with our Zoom attire. Zoom reminds us we were probably not the only ones rethinking our wardrobe for meetings. With over 200 million Zoom participants by March of 2020, Zoom went from 10 million to 200 million daily meeting participants, both free and paid. It is undeniable that communications have forever shifted and thanks to these digital platforms who are making it easier to connect.

Dress Up to Fight Zoom Fatigue

After months and months into the pandemic and months of daily Zoom calls, many people are looking to feel empowered and motivated to shift from the monotony of virtual calls. Zoom fatigue is what medical professionals are calling this tiresome worry and burnout that people may experience as a result of using Zoom and other virtual meeting places (Microsoft Teams, Skype, Google Meet, etc.) so frequently.

Get into your routine once again. Find clothing items that you feel good in. These simple guidelines can change your entire perspective, it’s like “The Laws of Attraction” applied to virtual meetings. When you feel good, you want to be seen. And because you want to be seen, you can be excited and ready for greatness on camera.
