Increasing your self-worth and self-respect doesn’t just reflect in your outfit.

Rocking pride and confidence in you is never out of season. You’re getting dressed in the morning, casual clothes, putting on and taking off, glancing at the mirror back and forth hoping one look fits the latest trends. What you may not realize is that none of the outfits fit the “latest trend,” because it’s not about the clothes, but the confidence that you have.

It is of utmost importance to remember this: wearing your confidence affects the rest of the day.

The more confident you are, the more energized and more motivated you will be, giving yourself a higher chance to have a successful day. Self-respect ties to the confidence and pride in oneself and is the one absolute that cannot be given but must be gained through an inside job. It is our responsibility to make this job a priority.

Take time during the day to grow your self-esteem and your self-love.

Because once this task is achieved, you will develop unshakeable confidence that will knock the negativity out of the day and you will be unstoppable. Increasing your self-worth through a new mindset will decrease your stress and anxiety, and will increase your motivation, resilience, and will show off your authentic self.

Ask yourself, how does this outfit make me feel?

Is this who I feel that I am and who I want to be? If the answer is no, chances are you need to go shopping. Although clothing should not determine your self-worth, it can help motivate the shift you need to feel more confident in your body and in your own style. So next time you are staring at yourself in the mirror, remind yourself that you are beautiful, powerful, and you will rule the day because you are unstoppable.
