Secret to Success: “Believe in yourself, listen to your inner voice, learn to build resilience, be kind to others, share your talents and resources, be exceptional in all you do, be memorable. Be strategic, cultivate your personal brand, surround yourself with a tribe that you can learn from and has your best interest at heart, be tenacious, do the homework, ask for help, have an impeccable work ethic, dress for success.”

Power of Being Female: “Being an empowered woman is not about being more masculine, independent or not taking crap from people, to me it means being joyful, fulfilled, loving yourself, knowing and embracing your strengths.”

Philosophy: “I’m a big believer of leaving a positive legacy by treating others with kindness, respect, paying it forward and big-picture thinking, therefore sharing my knowledge, vision, talent, and resources fuels my actions, as well as my work. My values keep me curious about life, the world, and they keep me hungry for learning.”

Biggest Milestone: “Overcoming severe shyness and accepting my first role in talk radio.”

On Career “Be strategic, cultivate your personal brand, surround yourself with a tribe that you can learn from and has your best interest at heart, be tenacious, do the homework, ask for help, have an impeccable work ethic, dress for success.”

Power of Being Female “I believe being a woman is the most powerful gift one can have. Femininity itself is power. We’re influential, we’re community builders, connectors, the givers of life responsible for human existence. Although it is impossible to quantify feminine power, I love that we’re able to exert our power with or without words, with our intellect, influence, sensuality, sensitivity, our maternal and nurturing instincts. Our resilience allows us to dodge all the fireballs thrown at us from all angles of society and media. The fact is that we have the incredible ability to switch roles throughout the day without having a meltdown (most of the time anyway).”

“Being an empowered woman is not about being more masculine, independent or not taking crap from people, to me it means being joyful, fulfilled, loving yourself, knowing and embracing your strengths.”
