The holiday season is slowly approaching us, and it’s almost time for peppermint mochas, sitting by the fireplace, playing in the snow and spending time with loved ones. While the holiday season is a wonderful time to spend with loved ones, it can be a bit stressful to find gifts for men in college.
Shopping for males in college can seem like a daunting task, but with the help of this list, you’ll be able to find that perfect gift for your loved ones. As a senior in college, I either use these things on this list on a daily/semi-daily basis or are on the top of my list this year.

1. An Air Fryer
Product: COSORI, Smart Air Fryer
Price: $91.18 – $119.99
My air fryer has improved my life immensely. Balancing school, internships and jobs, college students don’t always have the time to make an extravagant meal. On top of that, a lot of students struggle with consistently eating throughout their days. With so much to do, we need meals fast, and that air fryer you got your college student will become his best friend. Throw some frozen chicken nuggets and fries into the fryer, give it 10 minutes and your college student has a delicious and crunchy lunch or dinner. It doesn’t stop at chicken nuggets. You can make so many things in a short amount of time, such as baked potatoes, chicken taquitos and even brownies.

2. A Charging Dock
Product: WAITIEE Wireless Charger
Price: $32.99
If your college student is anything like me, we have a lot of things that need to be charged. With a phone, AirPods and Apple Watch, it can get annoying keeping track of all those chargers, so a charging dock is a great gift. Having one thing you need to plug into the wall that’ll charge all of your devices will clean up your student’s desk and help keep them a bit more organized.
3. A PS5/Xbox X and/or accessories
Product: PS5/Xbox X
Price: PS5 – $399/$499 | Xbox X – $299/$499
If you know the ultimate gamer, chances are they have had their eyes on the PS5 and/or the Xbox X. It has been about seven years since Microsoft or Sony released a new console, so when these two consoles dropped, everyone needed one. If you are lucky enough to get a hold of one, it would be the perfect gift. However, buying them some accessories would make great gifts if they already have a PS5/Xbox X. You could buy them a gaming headset, gift cards or an online subscription.

4. An Electric Razor
Product: MAX-T Men’s Electric Shaver
Price: $33.97 – $39.96
Having to constantly purchase razors can get annoying, and some razors aren’t capable of getting a clean shaved face. An electric razor can help your college student save some money as electric razor blades only need to be replaced every 12-18 months. I like to use a combination of a hand razor and an electric razor to get a smooth shave.

5. A Quality Portable Charger
Product: INIU Portable Charger
Price: $27.99
Before COVID-19 kicked us off campus, I was out and about all the time. I would leave my on-campus apartment at 8 a.m. and wouldn’t return until late at night. Between classrooms, on-campus dining areas, coffee shops or anywhere else your college student may visit, access to an outlet may be limited. Purchasing a quality portable charger for your students ensures their phone will never die and will always be available to make calls, look up directions or listen to music.
6. A Watch
Product: Apple Watch
Price: $199 – $750
A watch is a simple way to add more to an outfit and a great way of tracking time. If I’m in the middle of a long study session, any notification I get on my phone has the potential to distract me for hours. Putting my phone away while also having a way of tracking the time ensures that I get some quality study time in while also being aware of the time. I have an Apple Watch, but I also have a variety of standard wristwatches for wardrobe purposes.

7. Keurig, Cold Brew Maker or a Coffee Maker
Product: Keurig
Price: $79.99 – $89.99
It’s no secret that college students have a habit or procrastination. Sometimes, procrastination gets the best of us, a quick 30-minute break turned into a four-hour break, and suddenly it’s midnight, and your students have a paper due at 8 a.m. For those early morning classes or all night homework sessions, many students turn to coffee. Buying coffee at a coffee shop can get expensive. Purchasing your college student a coffee maker allows them to have access to coffee 24/7, and will ensure they are caffeinated enough to get that paper in by 8 a.m

8 (Electric) Kettle + Various Teas
Product: Mueller Electric Kettle
Price: $29.97
On the flip side, there are students who prefer a nice cup of tea over coffee. If your college student is an avid tea drinker, a tea kettle plus a variety of tea bags would surely be something they’d appreciate. If you’re going with the various tea path, give them a range of black, white, green or fruity teas to let them figure out what tea they like the best. Some with caffeine and others without, some for stress relief and others to help you fall asleep.

9. Bluetooth Earbuds/Headphones
Product: Beats Solo 3 Wireless
Price: $119.95
Dealing with wires can get extremely annoying. Some students can’t study in the quiet and need some background music. For those students, Bluetooth earbuds or headphones would be the perfect gift. Something I appreciate about my Airpod Pros is that they are small and noise canceling. If I’m doing homework at a coffee shop or in a noisy room, the noise cancellation feature helps me focus on my work.

10. A Water Bottle/Coffee Tumbler
Product: JURO Tumbler
Price: $14.99
During long study sessions or classes, college students sit in the same spot for hours focused on completing their work. Students will refuse to do anything until their work is completed, and that includes getting up to get a glass of water. A Hydro Flask or any other water bottle makes for easy access to water and will allow your students to remain hydrated during those long studying sessions.

11. Audible Subscription
Product: Audible Subscription
Price: $7.95 – $14.95
For reading lover , a new book they have not read will make a fantastic present. Head over to the New York Times to see their best selling list and pick a book you think your college student would love. Besides hardcover books, a subscription to Audible would be a great substitute. Audiobooks allow students to listen to their favorite books while they clean, cook, fold laundry or walk to class.

12. Hulu Subscriptions
Product: Hulu Subscription
Price: $5.99 – $60.99
With how long our days can be, college students need a way to relax after days filled with homework and classes. Depending on what your student likes to watch, choose your streaming service accordingly. If their fans of anything Disney related, Disney + is a no brainer. Or if your student is a fan of anime, Crunchyroll is one of the best streaming services for it. To play it safe, gift them a Hulu subscription which has endless movies and TV options for everyone.
