  1. Go Shopping at Unique Markets 

Located in Downtown Los Angeles, Unique Markets is the ideal spot to take your mother shopping on this special occasion. These shops sell a variety of items and support small businesses – tickets range from $15 to $35 on Mother’s Day and the markets are open from 10am to 4pm PST.

  1. Brunch at The London in West Hollywood

A classic Mother’s Day brunch is all you really need on this day. The Boxwood restaurant at The London is offering a delicious brunch for you and your mom. If she enjoys fresh-squeezed juice, salads, and delightful pastries, The London in West Hollywood is the ideal place for her. 

  1. Get Limited Edition Mother’s Day Donuts 

Located in 2918 Sawtelle Boulevard, Primo’s Donuts is a family-owned donut shop that has been selling fresh baked donuts since 1956. The shop will be serving limited-edition assortments of pink donuts made especially for Mother’s Day as well as half a dozen donuts and a coffee mug for $25. 

  1. Have a Picnic at Lake Balboa Park

If your mom enjoys the outdoors, Lake Balboa park is the best place to take her. Located in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, the park is known for its peacefullness and is great for having picnics. Treat your mom to a picnic in this beautiful park!

  1. Attend an Outdoor Yoga Class Together 

Finally, if your mom enjoys yoga, various outdoor yoga classes are being hosted throughout the week leading to Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day Yoga and Sound-Bath will be hosted by Maria Alaverdyan on May 8th from 9am to 10am at Johnny Carson Park for all levels, even if you both are just beginners.
