David Meltzer’s Mission To Empower Over 1 Billion People To Be Happy

Teacher of abundance, David Meltzer is grounded in both the spiritual and the pragmatic. He is at once a master of time management, hard work and a practitioner of spiritual balance. This transformational business leader is the co-founder of Sports 1 Marketing, a global sports and entertainment company with over 38 years of business experience bringing athletes, celebrities and business together all while actively giving back to philanthropic endeavours. He formerly served as CEO of the renowned Leigh Steinberg Sports & Entertainment agency, which was the inspiration for the famed movie “Jerry Maguire.”

His self-professed mission in life is to “empower over one billion people to be happy,” is nothing short of inspirational. Meltzer shares, “I’m supposed to empower people to be happy. I realized that it would take a thousand people I knew. A thousand people with content from my books, my speaking, coaching, podcasts, movies, TV, all the things that I’ve been blessed to do to make money and help people have fun. I’ve always believed that one particle of light overcomes a million particles of darkness and that this light of abundance and happiness would change the world. ”

Meltzer’s many notable successes include being a three-time international best-selling author, a Top 100 Business Coach, the executive producer of Entrepreneur‘s #1 digital business show, “Elevator Pitch,” and host of the top entrepreneur podcast, “The Playbook.” Additionally he has been recognized by Variety Magazine as their Sports Humanitarian of the Year and awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

In his latest book, “Game-Time Decision Making,” Meltzer shares, “When the pressure is on, great coaches remain laser-focused, confident, and fully in charge of their roster. They’re the same way when it comes to developing strategies and game plans to succeed. In short, they always win because they have a superior decision-making process.”

He is illuminating the world as a coach like none other. He brings faith, the power of truth and unlocking your vibration frequency to paint a clear picture as to how we can all be financially abundant and overflowing in happiness.

HAPPINESS FOR 1 BILLION PEOPLE

David Meltzer: I’ve always tried to figure out how I could have the biggest impact on the world. My 12-year-old daughter, at that time, had a friend who committed suicide. It just kept eating at me. Why would this 12-year-old get to a place to want to take her own life? I started researching suicide and started realizing there’s an epidemic of people who are unhappy. I started doing research on the power of happiness and looking at it on both the spiritual and pragmatic side.

What would it take to create a collective consciousness of happiness? I knew so many people that I could empower: a thousand people with content from my books, coaching, podcasts, movies and all the things that I’ve been blessed to do to make money and help people have fun. If I could teach you and empower you to empower others, a thousand would be a million, a million one billion, and I could create a collective consciousness of abundance.

I’ve always believed that one particle of light overcomes a million particles of darkness, and that this light of happiness can change the world.

THE SPIRITUAL AND PRAGMATIC

David Meltzer: It’s just understanding vibration frequency, which is something that I believe in. The thought that vibrates the fastest is the truth. When we know the truth, we live in the truth and we’re able to be aware of more things.

For me, there’s this temperance. You need a perfect balance of temperance. The temperance that exists is this blend of currencies. With the matter of currency in our world, we live in a pragmatic world. Money is the currency. It’s an object of energy that you put into the flow to get what you want. The currency of the higher realm of the truth is faith. I’m consistently tempering the constructs of time, space, measurement and money with faith or spirituality.

If you look at some of the greatest entrepreneurs that have temperance in their life, these people have extreme imaginations and are faithful people. They are high spiritual beings by every activity that they participate in. But they’re also pragmatic people dealing with the currency of money and quantified value. They understand the thoughts we have –– the thoughts move faster than the speed of light –– so that we can master our mindsets.

We can effectuate three things:

1.) Greater productivity, meaning we can add more value to other people.

2.) Greater accessibility, meaning we can access and be accessible to others, but also get access to what we want.

3.) The greatest lens of all, gratitude that gives us the superpower of finding the light, the love and the lessons.

My favorite quote is always, “Be kind to your future self, your good deeds.”  I think if everybody thought of things in the context of kindness and good deeds, simply picking up trash and smiling at people, leaving them thinking and looking for the superpowers and kindness as a superpower. I strive every day to practice kindness. It’s changed my life. It’s an abundance thought process. It’s an abundant practice that will bring everything through you for others. I have four different books, one with Jack Canfield. I’m happy to send them all for free.
